There are two main reasons why Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential Elections. Number one was the united Republican vote, and the second was the division in the liberal votes. While some liberals supported Hillary Clinton, a few pointed out to her “corruption scandals” in the past and insisted that the Democratic Party finalize on Bernie Sanders.
In the last minute, the Democratic Party officially chose to support Hillary Clinton, and they ended up losing a lot of long time liberal votes to this decision. Both Clinton and Sanders after the result lashed out at Trump and made it clear that both of them would be contesting the 2020 election.
Sanders on multiple occasions has said that the will defeat Trump in 2020. In an interview last month, he even went on to say that several Republicans supported him because he was “middle-class-Bernie”, and said that he understood the demands of the middle class American much better than President Trump.
Donald Trump was infuriated at these baseless remarks. Despite his massive loss in the election, Sanders did not learn the lesson. Trump decided that it was time to set things straight, and pointed out in one of his speeches about how Sanders was such a egomaniac that he may run the next election, even if he was physically unfit to serve Americans.
In 2020, Bernie Sanders will be 79 years old. Trump said that Bernie may run against him in 2020 even if he was “in a wheelchair”. He also hit out at the other possible candidates who could probably contest against him in 2020. His list includes three people – Hillary Clinton, Barnie Sanders, and Liz Warren.
“Who is going to run against me in 2020? Crooked Hillary? Pocahontas?,” President Trump said in one of his rallies. More recently, President Trump had made a remark against Liz Warren, referring to Warren as “Pocahontas”, speaking at a Native American Navajo event in Capitol Hill.
“You were here long before any of us were here. Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas,” he had said about Liz Warren.
Meanwhile, the Main Stream Fake News Media blew this issue out of proportion and accused the President of being “racist”. Liz Warren too commented on the issue. “It is deeply unfortunate that the president of the United States cannot even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without having to throw out a racial slur,” Warren had said.
